With human trafficking generating $30 billion a year, traffickers have moved to cyberspace to exploit women and children and have become keen to technological advances in order to perpetuate their criminal enterprises.  As traffickers diversify their operations, so too has the anti-trafficking community harnessed its creative energies to combat modern-day slavery.

 

From smart phone applications that let you calculate your slavery footprint to targeted media campaigns to raise awareness among our nation’s youth, our government has partnered with the Anti-Trafficking community to stop this modern day scourge.
