- Congratulations to newly elected SPSSI leaders: The Nominations & Elections Committee is happy to announce that our 2010 balloting have resulted in the election of Maureen O'Connor to the position of President-Elect, and of Kim Case, Fran Cherry, David Livert, and Denise Sekaquaptewa to SPSSI Council. These new Council representatives will serve three-year terms beginning in September 2010. Maureen will begin her term as President-Elect in September, serving as SPSSI President beginning in September 2011. Jessica Salvatore is the Council Alterternate, to serve should any Council vacancies develop before the next regular election. Wendy Williams has been elected to join Allen Omoto in representing SPSSI on the APA Council of Representatives.

- New Policy Events page launched! The page will be regularly updated with materials and information from recent SPSSI briefings and workshops. Click here.

Through the Journal of Social Issues, SPSSI is able to bring behavioral and social science theory, empirical evidence, and practice into focus on important human problems.
JSI is published quarterly. Each issue is devoted to a single topic, and available in electronic and print format.

Social Issues and Policy Review is an annual publication featuring high quality review articles on cutting-edge topics relevant to social issues and social policy.
SIPR has been in publication since 2007. Each issue includes both theoretical and empirical reviews of policy-relevant research.
