Why join SPSSI?

SPSSI members include approximately 3000 psychologists, allied scientists, students, and others who share a common interest in research on the psychological aspects of important social issues. They represent 61 countries and are working to affect change in both local and international policy. Strategically positioned as an NGO member of the UN and joined by leading academics across the globe, SPSSI has the experise and the reach to advocate for improvements in health, science, conservation, education, human rights, and the myriad of other challenges we face today.

SPSSI Membership categories include:

  • Member (first year dues = $40; thereafter, dues are based on a sliding scale and are $50, $75 or $100),
  • Graduate Student Member (dues are $25),
  • Undergraduate Student Member (dues are $25),
  • Sustaining Member (one-time dues are $1500 with no further dues billing),
  • Lifetime Member (over age 65 and SPSSI member for 20 years or more, no further dues billing), and
  • Affiliate (non-social scientists interested in supporting and furthering SPSSI's work; dues $50).

If you prefer to pay by check, you may print out the appropriate forms and send a check for payment to SPSSI, 208 I ("Eye") Street, NE, Washington DC 20002-4340.  Checks must be made payable to SPSSI and be in US dollars.  We cannot accept international checks.
