Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is charged with reviewing membership trends (onboarding, retention, resignations) as well as helping to recruit and retain new members of varying career stages. The committee will periodically work with staff to compile membership reports for Council and pursue projects to drive new membership and improve retention. As a member of Council, the chair or co-chair attends Council meetings and provides a report on the current work of the Membership Committee. 

This committee also selects the recipient of SPSSI’s SEAS Grant(s) each year. Up to $1,000 may be awarded between the two decision rounds. The deadline for this is September 30th.
