Clara Mayo Award Selection
This program supports master’s thesis and pre-dissertation research on sexism, racism, or prejudice, and particularly studies of the application of theory or the design of interventions or treatments to address these problems.
Funding for up to $1,000 is available to applicants, with preference given to students enrolled in a terminal master’s program. Proposals that include a college or university agreement to provide matching funding are given more favorable review, but proposals without matching funds are also considered. Mayo awards do not fund travel to conferences. Selection committee reviews two rounds of proposals each year with application deadlines typically on October 1 and May 1.
Application details can be found here.
