2012 Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring Award Honorable Mention

 

 


 

Dr. Winnifred R. Louis (PhD McGill, 2001). Dr. Louis a senior lecturer in Psychology at the University of Queensland. Her research interests focus on the influence of identity and norms on social decision-making. She has studied this broad topic in contexts from political activism to peace psychology to health and the environment, and happily supervises PhD and honours students across these domains. Winnifred teaches large undergraduate classes in third year statistics as well as social psychology courses in attitudes and intergroup relations. She has won teaching awards from her faculty, university, and the Australian Psychological Society.
