2014 Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring Award Honorable Mention

 

 


 

 

Leslie Ashburn-Nardo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis. Her research concerns the impact of discrimination on stigmatized targets as well as strategies for confronting discrimination and reducing bias. Her teaching and mentoring endeavors have been recognized with numerous awards, including a 2009 Society for the Teaching of Psychology Honorary Membership for Infusing Diversity intoTeaching. She is a Fellow of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, the Society of Experimental Social Psychology and the Midwestern Psychological Association; and she is a Consulting Editor for Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology.
