Council Member 2014-2017



Jessica Salvatore is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Sweet Briar College.  She studies difference and perceived difference -- both between groups (e.g., stigma management) and within groups (e.g., conformity).  She has published empirical work in Psychological Science, Sex Roles, and other journals, and research commentary in Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy.  She is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology and the British Journal of Social Psychology.  She regularly teaches courses related to social psychology and is co-authoring a book on social justice.
