Council Member 2016-2019



Jamie Franco-Zamudio is an Associate Professor at Spring Hill College, where she is the Co-Director of the Center for Community Collaboration. She identifies as an engaged scholar, combining teaching, research, and scholarship by focusing on teaching for social justice. Her current research addresses the benefits of experiential learning and service-learning for social justice outcomes. Franco-Zamudio is currently serving SPSSI as Co-Chair of the SPSSI Teaching and Mentoring Committee and Member of the Task Force for Engaged Scholarship. She has received awards for her teaching and service, including the SPSSI Innovative Teaching Award.
