Student Presentation Prize at the 2018 SPSSI Conference

Entries for this prize are now closed.

Every year, Feminism & Psychology holds a competition at the SPSSI Conference for the best student presentation concerned with gender, sex, or sexualities. The winner receives a certificate of honor and a year’s subscription to Feminism & Psychology, an international peer-reviewed journal.

The competition is open to students whose proposals have been accepted for the conference. Entries should include an anonymous copy of the proposal, along with a separate page listing the entrant’s name, institution, contact details, and the name of their graduate supervisor.

Both single-authored papers and co-authored papers are eligible. The entrant, however, must be the first author and must present the paper at the conference. (Posters and participation in round-table discussions are not eligible.) Recent graduates are eligible to compete if the work they intend to present was carried out while they were students.

The winner will be notified shortly after the conference.

Feminism & Psychology, now in its 28th year, is an international quarterly forum for critical theory and research at the interface of feminisms and psychologies. The journal publishes empirical research and critical theoretical articles.
