2026 Taylor Fellow

Christina Carr's research focuses on exploring how structural inequities are maintained and challenged through systems such as food sovereignty, community violence, STEM opportunities, policing practices, and more . She is a third-year Community Psychology doctoral student at DePaul University working alongside Dr. Christine Reyna, and works as a Program Evaluator. She uses mixed-methods and community-engaged approaches to center the assets and lived experiences of communities most impacted by inequities. She partners with local organizations across Chicago, IL to turn research into action, addressing critical questions and postering programmatic change. Ultimately, Christina aims to support the creation of more equitable and resilient systems for communities.
