SPSSI Historian 

Jacy L. Young is a Faculty member at Quest University Canada in Squamish, British Columbia. She completed her PhD in the History and Theory of Psychology at York University, Toronto in 2014. This was followed by a two year Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada funded Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK.
 
As a critical feminist psychologist and historian of psychology, her research explores the methods and practices of the human sciences. Her work spans topics as diverse as questionnaires, intelligence testing, gender, mindfulness, sexual harassment, child study, pedagogy, and evolutionary ideas in psychology. The founding Editor for the Psychology’s Feminist Voices BlogStandpoints, she also edits and blogs regularly at Advances in the History of Psychology.
