SPSSI Member Spotlight
Priyadharshany (Priya) Sandanapitchai is one of two SPSSI United Nations NGO committee interns. As part of her work at the UN, she took part in a project to remember the 3758 children who lost their lives in conflict zones in 2018 and is featured in a video by UNICEF. Priya graduated with a Masters in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University and is currently working as a research associate at the Francois Xavier Bagnoud Center of Rutgers University. Her studies examine different components involved in the context of HIV/AIDS such as mental health, substance use, biomedical prevention and mobile health, with an emphasis on social determinants of health and health disparities reduction.
